Terms

The plain terms for using Mettlespark during early access.

The service

Mettlespark reads public job postings and shows you what employers ask for, how your CV compares, the roles you match, and a plan to close the gap. It is in early access: features will change, some are rolling out behind switches, and we may pause one to fix it. We'll tell you about changes that matter.

Your account

You need to be 16 or older. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Fair use

Mettlespark is for your own career, or the careers of the people you coach or teach under a Guild agreement. Don't scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing dataset. Mettlespark AI stays on career topics: prompts that ask for something harmful are refused, kept for review, and can pause the AI features on your account.

Plans and payment

Your content

Your CV, your answers and everything you write stay yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the service to you, and for nothing else. Delete them whenever you like.

What we can't promise

The market data comes from public postings and is provided as it is; it can be incomplete or out of date. Mettlespark AI can be wrong, so check anything you rely on. Nothing here guarantees an interview, a job or a pay rise. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes and we'll let signed-in users know about anything that affects them.
